Cat's Cradle

As a child, you're at your happiest. You can spend your time with your beloved friends and favorite stuffed animal worry-free. But everything's different when you get older. Relationships change and sometimes you have to say goodbye to people you care about. Luckily, when you have a Lacie by your side, you don't have to go through that alone.

Cat's Cradle is an upcoming visual novel by Omakase Summer, or artist niaro and writer/programmer Lore. It's a story about heartache and learning to open up to others and move on after painful things happen. The game will be commercial and priced at $4.99 USD on release.

CHARACTERS

Eun-jae (oon-jay), the protagonist. Their name is changeable. As a child, they were bright and surrounded by friends. However, as they grew up, they became more cynical and withdrawn until they met a certain person who was very good to them. Unfortunately, the relationship ended on bad terms and this plus the stress of their first year at college has left them feeling depressed and adrift.

Noname (no-NAH-may), a Lacie* just newly born from the protagonist's old stuffed animal. His name is changeable. Kind and bright, his personality is reminiscent of the protagonist's during their childhood. Noname is very supportive of his partner Eun-jae while also trying to learn more about the world around him.

* Disclaimer: Lacies are a closed fictional species owned by niaro. Please do not create your own Lacie characters.
